Hi, I’m Dan

One of the greatest joys in life is watching your vision become a reality! The career, the business, the creation…until you start hiring people! Suddenly you find yourself spending the bulk of your time on interpersonal conflicts, potential lawsuits are looming around every corner, and now everyone is afraid to say anything that may offend someone. Sound familiar?

As a leader you are tree that bears fruit and people take and take until you have nothing left, and at that point its time to phone a friend. Don’t give up, level-up and bring me in. If you don’t have the time or simply not a people-person, the good news is I am, and I love to find and fix the roots so you, and your team, can start bearing fruit again!

My Approach

There is no one-size-fits all method and every organization and culture is different, so I talk to EVERYONE (my favorite part!). I tend to be much more conversational than formal and through these conversations people loosen up, and I’ll get a true sense of the pulse of the people, their challenges, burdens, ideas, stigmas, etc. I then sit down with leadership to review strategic plans and organizational goals to find the marriage between the strategy and execution.

This is where the rubber meets the road, many can strategize but few can execute… In order to execute, you need to influence, in order to influence you need to build trust, in order to build trust you need to be transparent, and in order to be transparent you need to be authentic.

Authenticity is what todays workforce desires most! You don’t need to have all the answers all the time, or foosball tables and free lunches. All of that stuff is great, but people crave authenticity, and passion for the purpose of the job. Once that’s established in return you will get what you been looking for: a workforce culture of loyalty and dedication to the mission.

My Philosophy

I serve you, so you can serve them. Everything I do starts with a foundation of servant style leadership. Pouring into the workforce with this philosophy is an investment that will yield huge gains later on. Like any good investment, servant style leadership will build equity over time which allows you to cash that check when you need it.

Once you build the reputation as a wise investor, the right type of investments, or people, will come your way, improve your portfolio and allow you to move on from bad investments in the past. The most beautiful aspect of this philosophy is watching others adopt it as well following your lead. Before you know it the workforce will do because they want to do, and not just because they were told; because they respect the organization, finally feeling valued, and will certainly return the favor. This is the exact moment a good organization, becomes great.
